Success Story: American Honda Motor Company
When American Honda took its president to the New York Stock Exchange on the eve of the groundbreaking of a new U.S. manufacturing facility, the automaker turned to CRELIX's Cary Brazeman for help making the most of the media opportunity.
The goal? Reinforce to consumers and investors in America Honda's commitment to manufacturing "close to the customer" and the company's longtime standing as an NYSE-listed company.
Participating in the NYSE event and products display were senior company officials and the governor of Alabama, where Honda's new plant would be built.
The result: A successful event covered by major cable business networks and print and electronic media across Alabama.
CRELIX's Cary Brazeman also co-managed the corporate affairs launch of Honda's Insight gas-electric hybrid vehicle, the first hybrid to go on sale in the U.S. The announcement was covered by three of the four major television networks and National Public Radio, and was accompanied by "ride-and-drive" events for government policymakers and influentials in the energy and environment sectors.
